Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This page explains what information Kaal Jyotish (Fifth Veda) collects on this website, why we collect it and how we keep it safe.

1. Information you give us

When you fill a booking form we collect your name, WhatsApp / mobile number and, where the form asks for it, your questions or pooja purpose. We use this only to provide the consultation or service you booked, to contact you about it and to give support.

Your form details are stored in our private Google Sheet (Google Workspace) and in our own MySQL database on our hosting server. Only our team can access them. We do not sell your details.

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and are never stored on our website. Razorpay tells us whether a payment succeeded, its amount and a payment ID. See Razorpay's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use small cookies and browser storage (localStorage) with random IDs to understand how visitors use the site — for example which page was opened, how far it was scrolled, which button was clicked and how fast the page loaded. These IDs do not contain your name or phone number. We never store your full IP address; for security (spam and abuse protection) we only keep a one-way scrambled version of it.

Raw analytics events are deleted automatically after a fixed period (13 months by default). Booking and order records are kept for our accounts.

We may also use Microsoft Clarity to see anonymous heatmaps and session replays (where people click and scroll) so we can improve the site; the details you type into our forms are masked and never recorded. See Microsoft's privacy statement for how Clarity handles data.

4. Advertising (Meta and Google)

We use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure our ads. When you submit a booking form or complete a payment, we tell Meta about it (event type, amount and product) from your browser and from our server using the Meta Conversions API. To match it with the ad you saw, we may send your phone number only in hashed form (an irreversible SHA-256 code), a hashed random visitor ID, your browser type and IP address. Your name and questions are never sent to Google or Meta.

You can limit ad personalisation in your Google and Facebook account settings, or block cookies in your browser.
